Zim - a desktop wiki. Since I'm working with Windows again, maybe it's time to either port my own desktop wiki again (sounds like work) or use another one that offers similar features. Zim looks quite good and is quite portable on the desktop - but I would probably have to adapt my Android app. Hmm. Sounds like work too ...

wiki.dbpedia.org : About. Also interesting - here Wikipedia is searched and evaluated for structured information. So, in a way, a Wikipedia for machines is created from the Wikipedia for humans. The whole thing is then pre-packaged with a query language and a suitable web service.

JWBs blog: Ema Personal Wiki for Android and Windows. Since I was just talking about Markdown - here's a personal wiki that uses Markdown for various systems, including Android. According to the description, it's quite similar to Vim Wiki.

trunkdesk - Mac desktop companion for Trunk Notes - Google Project Hosting. Since I keep playing around with desktop wikis and generally have the problem that I also want to access data on the go - and not just for viewing, but also for making changes, and with comparable features and not just limited (which unfortunately rules out VoodooPad because the iOS version only supports plain text versions and these are not rendered properly on the desktop, but are also only displayed in plain text there), this could be interesting - it's a simple desktop client for TrunkNotes. Basically, I'm doing this right now with VimWiki, but I wouldn't mind having somewhat more complete support for TrunkNotes features on the desktop.

Trunk Notes | Apps On The Move. I've had this on my computer for a while, but only now have I taken a closer look at how to integrate it with other tools. And it's actually quite simple: Use VimWiki. I already use VimWiki for my desktop wiki, so it makes sense to integrate everything so that I can also use it with the TrunkNotes wiki. Of course, this means that various advanced features of TrunkNotes are not supported, but that's not primarily important to me; what's more important is being able to edit the normal content directly. And for that, this little hack is sufficient. At some point, I'll create a special TrunkNotes mode that also supports metadata. Just found: a clone of VimWiki that works with Markdown (which TrunkNotes uses internally) (the corresponding code is already in the developer version of VimWiki).

AndTidWiki | mgBlog. As a supplement to my TiddlyWiki links, there is of course also an app for Android with which you can run TiddlyWiki on phones and tablets. It is based on the same mobile plugin as the iOS version (logically, since both platforms use WebKit as the core).

TiddlySpace/tiddlyspace. And since I find TiddlyWiki interesting right now: this project is a hosting project for TiddlyWikis that can be linked to users there and can be networked with each other - sounds like an interesting platform for collaboration on projects, for example (projects that are not about code - there's GitHub and Bitbucket for that). TiddlySpace is also a direct platform where you can register, or you can simply take their open source project here and host it yourself.

TwMobile. Regarding TiddlyWiki - yes, there is also an app for iOS devices. By the way, it uses Phonegap to create the app. The link at the beginning goes to the user group, but here is also a link directly to the AppStore. Quite interesting because in TiddlyWiki, plugins and similar things are also automatically possible in JavaScript and thus extended access to iPhone hardware becomes possible. At the moment, the integration with Dropbox is still a bit meager: you have to send files back and forth between apps. But since in TiddlyWiki everything is in one HTML file, that's not such a big problem. Enables the same interface for a small desktop wiki on iPad, iPhone, and desktop. And one that also looks quite nice. And additionally enables onboard programming in JavaScript. Sounds like a nice toy!
